Gina Pera is the author of “Is it You, Me or Adult A.D.D.?” She took on Dr. Richard Saul’s upcoming book, “ADHD Does Not Exist”, in a recent blog post: ADHD Does Not Exist? Wrong, Richard Saul. She points out a pattern of sensationalism that runs through much of the recent public discourse on ADHD.
My recent post on the pre-release press for his book entitled Science vs. Wishful Thinking wondered why Dr. Saul needs not to see ADHD where so many thousands of doctors and millions of patients have no trouble finding it. Gina may have the answer. It is more profitable as a book-seller not to see it. Controversy sells.
Silly me. I thought that physicians wrote publicly to help patients.
